Rehabilitation Ward

Strokes4Stroke 2024

We're excited to be a part of Strokes4Stroke

Our ward is proud to be taking part in Strokes4Stroke and raising vital funds to prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery.

Did you know, stroke can affect anyone at any time, even babies in utero? Shockingly, there is one stroke occurring every 19 minutes, making it one of Australia's biggest killers. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and more lives than prostate cancer in men. And even more heart-wrenching, approximately 600 Australian children suffer from stroke each year.

Stroke affects so many people, so it’s important that students, teachers and the wider school community all learn about the impact of stroke on children and how to promote inclusion.

Join our team and learn about stroke and the F.A.S.T. signs of stroke.

Together, we can create positive change and transform the lives of those impacted by stroke.
