I'm fundraising to prevent, treat and beat stroke!
This year unfortunately marks 10 years since dads last stroke. 10 very hard years for dad and my family.
As you all know for the last 10 years I have been fundraising for the stroke foundation. Hoping that one day there will be a cure. 🤞
Once again, I'll be participating in the Citry2Surf. If anyone would like to join me and my amazing friend Sarah, in the 14km walk on Sunday 13th August, that would be amazing!!
Stroke attacks the brain, the human control center, changing lives in an instant. It can happen to anyone, at any age and affects everyone differently.
Few people will think about stroke until it touches their life.
It’s estimated more than 27,400 people will have a stroke in Australia for the first time in 2022, equating to one stroke every nineteen minutes.
Today, there are over 445,000 people in our community whose lives have been changed by stroke and their number is growing.
Stroke Foundation is a national charity that partners with the community to prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery.
With your support, Stroke Foundation can provide support to those affected right now and fund research to fight stroke.

Sunday 23rd Jul With only a few weeks left till City2Surf, I have slowly stared my training. Walks of Maitland Park. To put this event into perspective, 8 laps of Maitland Park is equivalent to 14.4kms. Add in a few extra hills and that is the walk.Thank you to my Sponsors
