Prevent Stroke. Savel Lives. Enhance Recovery
Brownie's Day
Saturday 31
October, 2026
Windsor Bowls Club
69 Blackmore Street, Windsor QLD 4030
Rolling bowls, drinking a rum or 2 and raising funds for Stroke Foundation in memory of everyone's mate – Brownie.
Join us for the inaugural Brownie's Day, a day of bowls, mateship and community as we come together to celebrate the life and legacy of Alan "Brownie" Brown.
Brownie was a much-loved Life Member, former Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer and friend to so many at Windsor Bowls Club. His passion for the game, generous spirit and commitment to the club left a lasting impact, and this annual event has been created to honour his memory while raising vital funds for Stroke Foundation.
Whether you're taking to the green, cheering from the sidelines or making a donation, every dollar raised will help fund stroke prevention, treatment, recovery and support for the almost 47,000 Australians who experience a stroke each year.

In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to have a stroke.
Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.
By supporting me, you'll be contributing to sustaining vital programs and resources that Stroke Foundation provides, including:
💙 Preventing Stroke:
- StrokeSafe Talks
- Australia's Biggest Blood Pressure Check
- Information Resources
💙 Saving Lives:
- F.A.S.T. (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) Signs of Stroke Awareness
- Living Guidelines for Stroke Management
- InformMe Website for Health Professionals
💙 Enhancing Recovery:
- StrokeLine
- My Stroke Journey
- EnableMe Website for Survivors of Stroke
Your support goes beyond just a donation; it's a lifeline for individuals at risk of stroke and survivors of stroke.
Thank you for supporting me. Together we can change the state of stroke in Australia for generations to come.
