I'm walking 131km this May for Stroke Foundation
Hi there, I'm taking on the challenge of 131km in May and raising funds for Stroke Foundation to help create a future with fewer strokes.
I dedicate this to my beautiful sister, Taylah Deanne, my best friend, who passed away unexpectedly in November 2025 at just 28 from a stroke. She was truly so beautiful, inside and out. Her memory lives on in everything I do, and I will keep pushing forward with her in my heart, always. ❤️
To my dad, Paul, a true fighter, who has endured three strokes and continues to live with their effects every day. Your strength inspires me more than words can say. 💙
Also to my mum, Naomi, who has endured it all and became the rock and foundation. Who has shown immense strength pulling through these heartbreaking moments of our families lives. 💕
Every day in Australia, 131 people will have a stroke.
Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, up to 120 babies and 400 children have a stroke in Australia each year.
By supporting my challenge, you’ll be helping Stroke Foundation deliver life-changing programs that focus on:
-
Preventing stroke through education, awareness, and encouraging blood pressure checks
-
Saving lives by improving recognition and response — including awareness of the F.A.S.T. (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) signs of stroke — and strengthening stroke care
-
Supporting recovery with trusted information, StrokeLine, and online communities for survivors and families
Your donation is more than a contribution — it helps people understand their risk, act faster in an emergency, and find support on the road to recovery.
Thank you so much for supporting me and being part of this challenge.
Together, we can help create a future with fewer strokes.

The whole team at Dedicated Care wish you the best of Luck and success with your challenge. We also send you much Love and Strength as you do this in memory of your extremely loved and missed Sister - Taylah.
