I’m taking on The Big Cutback to raise funds for stroke prevention.
This March, I’m challenging myself to cut back on a daily habit and raising funds for stroke prevention.
In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia will have a stroke.
Stroke is one of Australia’s biggest killers and doesn’t discriminate—it can affect anyone, anytime.
- It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men.
- Incredibly, up to 120 babies and 400 children have a stroke in Australia each year.
By supporting my Big Cutback challenge, you’ll help fund vital stroke prevention initiatives, including:
- StrokeSafe Talks: Educating communities on what a stroke is, how to recognise it and what people can do to prevent it.
- Australia’s Biggest Blood Pressure Check: High blood pressure is the single largest risk factor for stroke. This initiative helps Australians understand and manage their risk.
- Information Resources: Providing essential tools and guidance to help Australians take control of their health and reduce their risk of stroke.
Your support goes beyond a donation — it can help cut back how many Australians experience a stroke and save lives.
Thank you for your support!
