How your funds will help
By fundraising for The Big Cutback, you’re helping support vital stroke prevention initiatives — like the StrokeSafe Speaker Program, Australia’s Biggest Blood Pressure Check, and life-saving information resources — all working to cut back how many Australians experience a stroke.
StrokeSafe Speaker Prorgram
Our StrokeSafe speakers deliver presentations to community groups across Australia on what a stroke is, how to recognise it and what people can do to prevent it.
Australia's Biggest Blood Pressure Check
Australia’s Biggest Blood Pressure Check, held every May, empowers Australians to know their stroke risk and understand how to manage it.
High blood pressure remains the single largest risk factor for stroke – and it's preventable.
Information Resources
At Stroke Foundation, we’re committed to empowering Australians with the knowledge and tools to prevent stroke.
Stroke is often preventable, and understanding risk factors is the first step. Our resources are designed to help Australians take control of their health and reduce their risk of stroke.
