What is The Big Cutback?

add remove

The Big Cutback is a fundraising challenge where participants cut back on a habit—like alcohol or sugar—for the month of March. By cutting back, participants raise awareness and funds to support vital stroke prevention initiatives like StrokeSafe Speaker Program; Australia's Biggest Blood Pressure Check; and Information Resources.

How does it work?

  2. Register online to set up your fundraising page.

Why do I need to cut back on something?

add remove

Cutting back on a habit is a symbolic act of commitment. It not only challenges you personally but also makes it easier to start conversations about stroke prevention.

Every conversation you spark and donation you raise helps us educate communities about stroke risk and prevention.

Ask friends, family, and colleagues to take on the challenge with you!

Sharing your journey on social media, or simply asking people in your network to give up something with you can help build support.

Do I have to raise a certain amount?
