Kids can save lives
Teaching kids to be a F.A.S.T. HERO.
In 2010 my sister had a Stroke at the age of 4, she is now 14 and doing amazing. Her recovery is mostly due to getting treatment F.A.S.T. Both my parents knew the signs of Stroke and Sophie was treated within the 4 hour time critical period.
They then taught me the acronym and now I want to teach as many other kids as possible.
This year the Stroke Foundation wants everyone to become a F.A.S.T. Heroes. Teaching others that by simply knowing and recognising the F.A.S.T. signs of stroke (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) and calling an ambulance immediately they are a hero.
