Getting to the Bellarine Peninsula
Travelling by car from Melbourne
Take the M1 from Melbourne and follow signs towards Geelong. From there, follow the Bellarine Highway (B110) to access towns and villages such as Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Portarlington and St Leonards. This scenic drive takes approximately 90 minutes.
Public transport options
Catch a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Geelong (running every 30–60 minutes). From Geelong Station, transfer to local buses servicing Bellarine Peninsula towns including Queenscliff, Ocean Grove, and Portarlington.

By Ferry
Searoad Ferries depart daily from Queenscliff Harbour to Sorrento Pier, every hour on the hour from 7am until 6pm, all year round. Foot passengers, bicycles, cars, towed caravans and trailers, motor homes, motorcycles and trucks are all welcome.
