Stroke continues to have a devastating impact on our community. The daily challenges for all those affected, both adults and children, inspires us to continue to fulfill our mission to prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery.
The Counterstroke Golf Classic 2021 is supporting aphasia research. Aphasia is a devastating condition that affects one in three survivors of stroke, impacting all aspects of communication, including speech, comprehension, reading and writing.
With over 120,000 people living currently with aphasia in Australia from stroke alone we are incredibly grateful to the Counterstroke Golf Classic events to be able to invest in critical research to learn about this condition.
By making a donation today, you will help support Stroke Foundation provide critical funding to the brightest minds in aphasia research; and in addition, produce important information for survivors of stroke experiencing aphasia.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you to each of the golf clubs; Curlewis Golf Club, 13th Beach Golf Links and Barwon Heads Golf Club.
