It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And astoundingly, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.
Despite the significant progress in medical treatment and rehabilitation, many survivors face a long, difficult journey toward recovery. However, rehabilitation can be a long and costly process, with access to comprehensive care varying across regions.
