Prevent Stroke. Savel Lives. Enhance Recovery

On the 4th of July, I will be running in the Gold Coast Marathon and I’ve chosen to make a difference by fundraising for Stroke Foundation to help prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery for survivors of stroke.

I am raising money in honour of my dad who at 46 years old had a stroke. This has touched our family in ways we could have never imagined and will unfortunately affect many other families too.  My Dad is my Hero.  

In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to have a stroke.

Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.
