Rebecca - known to many of us simply as Bec - was the kind of person who made you feel seen, heard, and cared for. Her warmth, humour, and generosity were constants in our lives. She loved a good laugh, often at her own expense, and found joy in helping others and solving their problems. Her sudden passing at just 46 has left us heartbroken, but we honour her by coming together to support a cause that now carries even deeper meaning.
In the next 11 minutes, someone in Australia will suffer a stroke. It’s a sobering reminder that stroke can strike anyone, at any time. By donating in Bec’s memory, you’ll be helping the Stroke Foundation continue its vital work in prevention, treatment, and recovery—giving others a chance that Bec didn’t have.
Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.
