TRI & Make A Difference - Every Stroke Counts
Hello everyone…I’m Jeevan and I’d like to TRI to make a difference by helping to prevent stroke, support ways to save lives and enhance recovery for stroke survivors.
Did you know that in the next 9 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to suffer from stroke. It’s one of the biggest killers and can affect anyone at anytime - claiming more lives than breast and prostate cancer. Sadly around 600 Australian children also experience stroke each year.
Supporting this cause is personally important to me because last year my wonderful grandma suffered with a stroke. Thankfully she made a good recovery but many others are not that fortunate - so I would like to help.
On 23rd November 2025, I’m going to take part in my first ever triathlon to raise funds for the Stroke Foundation and although the distances aren’t big - my efforts will be huge!
