I’m making a difference by fundraising for Stroke Foundation to help prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery for survivors of stroke.
In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to have a stroke.
Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.

58FORYOU 💙
Tuesday 1st Apr On February 26th my siblings and I unfortunately lost our beautiful mum to a ischemic stroke. The medical teams done everything they could to save our mum but unfortunately we were advised by the medical professionals our mum wouldn’t make it and had to make the difficult decision to switch off her life support. Mum was young, healthy with a whole life ahead of her, this just goes to show stroke can affect anyone and everyone no matter the age or how healthy you are. So I’ve decided on August 10th through until October 6th I will be attempting to run 58 half marathons in 58 days to raise awareness in prevention of stroke and enhancing the recovery for stroke survivors. This will be an incredibly difficult challenge but I’m determined to make it happen and get it done as this is a cause that’s now very close to my heart.
