Prevent Stroke. Savel Lives. Enhance Recovery

I’m making a difference by fundraising for Stroke Foundation to help prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery for survivors of stroke.

In June, I’ll be taking on my biggest challenge yet — running for 58 hours straight in honour of my mum, who we lost to stroke. This year she would have turned 60, and I wanted to mark the milestone in a way that truly reflects her strength and the impact stroke has had on our family.

Over 58 hours, I’ll aim to complete as many kilometres as possible. There will be breaks to refuel and short naps along the way, but the goal is simple — keep moving, keep pushing, and raise as much awareness and funding as possible to help prevent stroke, save lives and support survivors in their recovery.

Last year, I completed 58 half marathons in 58 days and together we raised over $30,000. This year, I’m aiming to go even bigger.

Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.
