131km in May Challenge 2025

I'm walking 131km this May for Stroke Foundation

I’m making a difference by walking 131km this May and fundraising for Stroke Foundation to help prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery for survivors of stroke.

Everyday 131 Australian's have a stroke.

Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.

By supporting me, you'll be contributing to sustaining vital programs and resources that Stroke Foundation provides, including:

šŸ’™ Preventing Stroke:

  • StrokeSafe Talks
  • Australia's Biggest Blood Pressure Check
  • Information Resources

Ā šŸ’™ Saving Lives:

  • F.A.S.T. (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) Signs of Stroke Awareness
  • Living Guidelines for Stroke Management
  • InformMe Website for Health Professionals

Ā šŸ’™ Enhancing Recovery:

  • StrokeLine
  • My Stroke Journey
  • EnableMe Website for Survivors of Stroke

Your support goes beyond just a donation; it's a lifeline for individuals at risk of stroke and survivors of stroke.

Thank you for supporting me. Together we can change the state of stroke in Australia for generations to come.

My Updates

why?

Friday 11th Apr
I'm doing this because I know how it feels to be told you've had a stroke.Ā  It was weird to hear and luckily I choose to believe I was lucky as only my eyesight is affected. It has still impacted my life in many ways but I can still get out I can still work most importantly I can care for myself. I'm still adapting and seeing specialist to see if things may change. Many aren't as lucky so let's help them ā¤ļø
