In 2023, the Counterstroke Golf Classic will be supporting the EnableMe website, Australia’s largest online stroke community that provides support to stroke survivors in the months and years after stroke.
EnableMe is a place to talk to, and seek support from other people who have ‘been there’. It is a place to ask questions, to find the answers and to set recovery goals. It is a place where one can offer support, encourage others, and share experiences; because no one is alone, they are part of a bigger community of people who stand side by side facing life after stroke.
EnableMe is owned and managed by the Stroke Foundation and has been created specifically for the Australian stroke community.
For every stroke survivor and their family, access to information and being able to ask questions about their experiences is critical to long-term recovery.
